Vytality at Home Co-President Nicole named as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Calgary 2020

We are so proud that Nicole Dyer, Co-President of Vytality at Home, has been named as one of Avenue magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 2020.

This annual list recognises individual aged under 40 who are making a difference in their field. It celebrates entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers and artists who are shaping the future of Calgary, as Avenue magazine explains:

“The Top 40 list is not just a celebration of young, successful people, but also of the city that, despite the double-whammy of a years-long economic downturn and a global pandemic, allows their successes to be possible.”

The final Top 40 were selected by a panel of experienced judges from hundreds of entries. In their profile of Nicola, Avenue magazine say:

“Why she’s a 2020 Top 40 Under 40: Nicole Dyer co-founded a tech start-up that connects older adults and their families with caregivers who can provide personalized service, enabling seniors to live independently for longer.”

Quoted in her Top 40 Under 40 2020 profile, Nicole expands further:

“I was lucky to find something that I was truly passionate about and made it my life’s work. We’re providing people with choice, which they haven’t had. I believe that we’re providing families with peace of mind from a transparency perspective.”

Nicole is thrilled to be included in the Top 40 Under 40 Class of 2020:

“I am so honoured to be named as one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40! It is an accomplishment that could not have been realized without the team here at Vytality at Home, most specially my co-founder Brad Lohman.

Starting Vytality at Home has been more rewarding than I could have imagined. Knowing that our services and technology create exceptional experiences for our clients and their families makes all the work worthwhile. Our clients love the level of attention and care they receive from their designated caregiver, and in turn recommend us to their friends, family and neighbours.

So, whilst the list has my name on it, it’s also recognising everyone here at Vytality, and that makes me very proud indeed.”

Nicole co-founded Vytality at Home with Brad Lohman after experiencing problems herself co-ordinating quality home care for her family members. She and Brad decided to start a company that would provide what she had needed, namely reliable, high quality home care from a team of exceptional care givers. Today, Vytality at Home provides exceptional care experiences for both senior and disabled clients needing help and support to live at home across Calgary.

Nicole was the driving force behind Vytality’s innovative home care app, which links together everyone involved in a client’s home care, including their family and their individual caregiver. This innovative approach resulted in Vytality at Home being named as one of Calgary’s Top 15 up-and-coming tech startups in the 2019 StartupCalgary awards.
